Ingredients : Petite French green lentils
Directions : Sort and rinse 1 cup of Bob’s Red Mill Petite French Green Lentils. Place in a medium size pot and add 2 ½ cups of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until tender, about 25 minutes. Make sure to keep lentils covered with water during cooking; if water level is low, add additional water and reduce the cooking temperature. Makes approximately 2-1/2 cups cooked lentils.
Serving recommendation : They are delicious added to soups, stews, dals, curries and chilis, and are fantastic as a meat substitute for wraps and veggie burgers.
